The China International Fair for Investment and Trade, or CIFIT, is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Co-hosted by six international organizations, including the United Nations Trade and Development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the World Trade Organization, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the International Finance Corporation, and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies, and is one of the country’s leading platforms for two-way investment promotion, investment policy release, investment trend analysis, project matchmaking, and international business cooperation.
In recent years, CIFIT has attracted professional participants from government departments, official investment promotion agencies, business associations, multinational corporations, and investment institutions from more than 100 countries and regions. Each edition brings together over 1,000 business delegations, nearly 5,000 companies, and around 50,000 business professionals seeking investment and cooperation opportunities.
