LONDON, 11 June 2026 – The 48 Group was proud to co-host the World Future Technology Development Summit, an official side event of London Tech Week 2026, alongside the World Future Technology Federation and the University of Surrey.

Held at IET London: Savoy Place, the summit brought together technology leaders, investors, academics, entrepreneurs and policymakers from across the United Kingdom, China and the wider international community to explore emerging technologies and opportunities for global collaboration.

The programme focused on some of the most transformative sectors shaping the future global economy, including artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced manufacturing, sustainable technologies, healthcare innovation and cross-border investment. Through a combination of keynote speeches, project roadshows, resource matchmaking sessions and technology exhibitions, participants exchanged ideas and explored opportunities for international cooperation and commercial partnership.

The summit highlighted the growing importance of collaboration between industry, academia and government in supporting technological advancement and ensuring innovation can be translated into practical solutions that deliver economic and societal benefit.
