Shenzhen, Guangdong – The 48 Group, together with the Young Icebreakers Initiative, is proud to announce an official global partnership with AttraX. This collaboration was officially unveiled at the AttraX Hackathon (Shenzhen), reinforcing its commitment to supporting educational exchange for AI talent and strengthening practical engagement between the United Kingdom and China.

The AttraX Hackathon (Shenzhen) served as a high-impact stage for this announcement, attracting an offline audience of over 1,000 and garnering more than 10 million views across media platforms. The intensive three-day event drew 252 participants from around China who developed 70+ innovative projects across five distinct tracks, including hardware, software and AI Agents. Notably, The 48 Group sponsored the "Going Global" Track, specifically designed to empower entrepreneurs and tech talents to scale their innovations internationally.

Founded by students from Tsinghua University and Peking University, AttraX brings together interdisciplinary talent across technology, design, arts, philosophy, gaming, and engineering. Built around a spirit of exploration and creativity, AttraX focuses on identifying ambitious young builders who seek to move beyond conventional boundaries and connect Chinese innovation with the wider world.

The partnership with AttraX will focus on creating practical opportunities for outstanding AI talents and entrepreneurs to develop commercially viable products. Selected innovators and winning teams from AttraX’s flagship programmes, including hackathon initiatives and wider community activities, may have the opportunity to work alongside experienced global teams to refine and apply new technologies across sectors and international markets.

Jack Perry, Chairman of the 48 Group, noted that the partnership reflects a growing need to connect the next generation of technology builders with the structures required for international growth. He emphasised that successful technology cooperation between the UK and China requires not only creativity and ambition, but also a deep understanding of legal frameworks, governance systems, capital pathways, and the long history of engagement between the UK and China.

The partnership is built on the conviction that technology and AI innovations can bring sustainable growth and global impact when supported by the right international networks, governance structures, and market access. By combining AttraX’s talent community with The 48 Group’s network to member corporations and key policymakers in the UK, the collaboration seeks to create meaningful opportunities for the next generation of global AI talents.
